Laura received her BFA in painting at the University of Mississippi and her MFA in painting at the New York Studio School. Her work is featured in multiple private collections in New York, Nantucket, Georgia, Mississippi as well as in Florence, Italy. In 2019 Laura was the recipient of the Peter Rippon Royal Academy Travel Grant enabling her to further her studies abroad and exhibit work at the Royal Academy of Arts in London, England.

Laura’s recent work is inspired by her trips to Africa and Cumberland Island.
